Other 2000s Movies |
When I was a teenager, the first movie of the franchise gave me quite positive emotions. However, gradually I began to be bothered by the protractedness of the plot. I watched The Twilight: New Moon in 2009 and forgot about this story until recently.
Especially for the objectivity of this review, I have watched all relevant films, and I must admit that I liked the ending. To be honest, when I want to rewatch the adventures of Bella & Edward, I definitely won’t include all five parts. The first and the last ones will be enough. However, this is only my opinion.
And now back to me in the late 2000s. So, as I got older, I became more and more annoyed by the pathos seriousness of the picture and its characters. All those frowning faces and perpetual fear of cheerful company seemed somehow strange to me.
So when I came across a parody called Vampires Suck, I laughed a lot. It made fun of the very things that made me angry before. The comparison of the original three anti-heroes to The Black Eyed Peas band is an excellent idea.
So after watching the first two parts, I highly recommend you to check out this thematic comedy as well. For the sake of objectivity, I should mention that most film critics disagree with me in their conclusions. If the original picture itself, the lion’s share, evaluates positively, the parody – categorically negative.
I have mixed feelings about “The Twighlite Saga” (this is how some people like to write it). From positive memories, the moment that inspired my creative idea immediately comes to mind. When I first watched the movie, the beauty of the scenery struck me so much that I decided to download pictures of similar views from the Internet. Why? It’s simple – at the time, I was making themes for Symbian smartphones using my Nokia 6630.

Cast
Robert Pattison played the mysterious and handsome Edward Cullen. His girlfriend Bella performed by Kristen Stewart. And Jacob, the eternally driven man behind them, was played by Taylor Lautner. These are three key characters in the entire Saga.
But my praise to the creators for the excellent casting and the designers and makeup artists for the actresses. Especially Edward’s sisters. Alice and Rosalie (played by Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed) are real beauties. Although they are pretty contrasting personas, they both hit my type of girl, as in looks as well as personalities. Thanks to them, I wasn’t so bored watching the in-between parts.
Soundtrack
Most of the time, there are instrumental compositions and ambient music in The Twilight Saga. It is common to hear an unobtrusive piano. As for the title theme, it is pretty challenging to single out one song in particular because there are many really good works.
I should note that the Muse track with the title “Supermassive Black Hole” is the one I heard most often. You can listen to it during a vampire baseball game. By the way, there was a great simulation of the sport called MLB Slam! for Nokia N-Gage back in the zeros.

Plot
Swan Bella moves from hot Arizona to rainy Forks to live with her father. Her mother, on the other hand, is rocking it with her new boyfriend, and they’re running from place to place together. It is getting fed up with the teenager, and she decides to bring at least a little stability into her life.
But that was not the case. An introverted young girl meets the same strange and detached from the rest of the world guy like her. Gradually they get closer, and all of Edward’s secrets come out on the inside. He is a vampire with extraordinary powers and a talent for reading other people’s minds. However, Bella is the only one whose thoughts this man cannot grasp.
One day, Cullen saves Swan’s life and then introduces her to his family. While playing baseball among her new acquaintances, Bella saw alien vampires, but the number of the girl’s defenders forces the aggressors to retreat. But this is just the beginning of the game.
Will Bella escape from the hunter? How will her relationship with Edward turn out? About all this and more, you will find out while savoring the movies itself. Enjoy watching!
Conclusion
The Twilight Saga has become one of the most successful movie franchises in cinematography history. It would be unreasonable not to recognize its importance both for the 2000s and for the industry as a whole. For some, it’s the memory of a youthful infatuation; for others, it’s a naive fairytale.
But the imprint in the memory remained in many of us, which explains why I created this material. Well, friends, that’s all for today. Good luck and see you soon!
