Other N-Gage Games |

Crash Nitro Kart is one of the most unconventional racing games of the 2000s. It had released in 2004. The release became famous thanks to its many versions for different interfaces. However, not only the mentioned point is the key to the success of the project. Thrilling gameplay and cheerful atmosphere – this is what gamers remembered first of all.

As for multiplatform, it is fair to express gratitude to the developers for creating such a cool game for Nokia N-Gage. Especially, as it turned out, this platform has become the most harmonious for this THQ brainchild.

The point is that Xbox, PS2, and Game Boy Advance had their nuances that kept this car racing game from opening up to the fullest extent. For example, it was too simple for home consoles in gameplay (I know this since I played it in 2005 with a neighbor on the second PS). And the Nintendo version wasn’t as good as the one we’re watching today too.

Graphics

First of all, I should note in this N-Gage game review that a high-quality character drawing is very pleasing to the eye. All of them are made in bright coloring and are beautifully detailed. I also want to praise the animation, which looks lively and diverse. The whole mobile game had executed in iridescent and cheerful colors. I love this style.

Soundtrack

During the driving, the ears enveloped by musical themes that remotely resemble synthpop or experimental electronica. I also remembered funny sound effects and unique replicas of each character.

Story

Eighteen heroes are available, most of which open when the player beats them. From the start, there are only four – Tini, Crunch, Dr. Neo Cortex, and Crash himself. A lot of tracks will keep you awake from the monotony, especially with such charismatic rivals.

Gameplay

Control in the game is quite convenient. The turns work in combination with the brakes, which makes the process of racing quite smooth. As for the game by Bluetooth, there is support for up to four players. Thanks to this, you can compete with several friends at the same time. In total, the multiplayer has two modes – race and battle.

By the way, in 2010 for iOS devices had released Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2. It’s a pretty good mobile too, and it deserves attention.

Conclusion

Crash Nitro Cart can rightly be considered one of the most fun games for the N-Gage platform. It is nice at times to immerse yourself in a simple and good children’s world, where the heroes like this pampering on the track.

That’s it for today. Have a great mood, friends, and see you again!
